IMPLANT
Dental implants are used to replace missing teeth. During the procedure a titanium post is placed under the gums and functions as a root. It can later be used to hold a single crown, multiple crowns or dentures.
PROSTHODONTICS
Prosthodontics is the branch of dentistry pertaining to restoring oral function and esthetics of the mouth with conditions associated with missing teeth and/or oral and maxillofacial tissues. (full mouth construction pictures)
Crowns (Caps) Crowns protect teeth that have weakened structure due to severe decay, root canal or fractured tooth. We offer Zirconium, porcelain fused to metal and full gold or all metal crowns. We will discuss options with patients to determine the best choice for each patient. At least two visits will be necessary. The first visit entails prepping the tooth and taking the impression. During the second visit, the crown is inserted and adjusted.
Bridge (FPD) Bridges replace one or multiple teeth and anchors them to existing teeth and implants.
COSMETIC
We offer an array of cosmetic procedures to improve the esthetics of your smile. Our skilled dentists work with the patient to produce a result that is both beautiful and natural looking.

All ceramic crowns are great for esthetic areas where a full coverage restoration is needed.
Bonding uses white filling material to reshape a broken tooth or to provide a more esthetic result. In many cases it is a great short term option to veneers.

Endodontics is the branch of dentistry involving the pulp tissue, which is the inner chamber of the tooth. The pulp contains the nerves and blood vessels.
Root canal therapy Root canal therapy is the removal of the pulp tissue from the tooth. This is generally performed in response to pain, trauma or infection. Most patients will need a crown and post following root canal.

PERIODONTICS
Periodontics is the branch of dentistry that deals with treating the gums and other surrounding structures of teeth. Preventing periodontal disease is of the utmost importance to maintain your smile!
Deep cleaning (Scaling and root planing) Deep cleanings are performed to remove plaque and calculus from patients with periodontal disease and are generally done under local anesthesia. Afterwards, regular periodontal maintenance is needed.
Gingivectomy & Gingivoplasty During gingivectomy and gingivoplasty, unhealthy gum tissue is removed to improve esthetics, eliminate deep pocketing or provide better cleansibility. Gingiovoplasty can be performed to correct uneven gum lines or a ‘gummy” smile.
Crown lengthening is completed on teeth that are lacking in tooth structure due to anatomy, previous restorations or decay. By making the tooth longer, it allows the permanent crown to have a better fit.
RESTORATIVE DENTISTRY
Quality restorative dentistry will help prevent larger issues done the road!
White (Composite) Fillings White fillings are ideal for fixing smaller cavities in the mouth. The decay is removed and then a restoration that matches the tooth is placed.
Silver (Amalgam) Fillings Silver fillings can be replaced with other restorative material when they are worn and have decay around the edges.
Gold fillings Gold fillings are ideal for restoring posterior teeth, particularly when they have larger decay. At least two visits will be necessary. The first visit entails removing the decay and taking the impression. During the second visit, the filling is inserted and adjusted.
Porcelain and Zirconium fillings Porcelain and zirconium fillings are ideal for larger restorations in posterior teeth when esthetics is important. At least two visits will be necessary. The first visit entails removing the decay and taking the impression. During the second visit, the filling is inserted and adjusted.
PREVENTIVE CARE
Preventive care is the cornerstone of our office. We want to ensure that patients understand its importance so that they can maintain their smiles for a lifetime!
Exam At the initial exam we will survey the mouth as a whole and recommend treatment. We will also conduct oral cancer screenings. The ADA recommends that patients receive exam and cleanings every 6 months. At the recall exam, we will follow up on issues detected beforehand and any emerging issues.
Dental cleanings (Prophylaxis) We will remove plaque and calculus with instruments and by hand to ensure healthy gums and remove unsightly stains from coffee, tea and red wine. We will also review oral hygiene at this time and make recommendations if necessary.
Sealants are plastic coatings that are applied to the chewing surfaces of permanent teeth to prevent cavities. Sealants are generally placed on children’s teeth.
ORTHODONTICS
Orthodontics is concerned with aligning the teeth and jaws to improve esthetics, function and dental health.
Braces The orthodontist uses both metal and porcelain brackets to correct misaligned teeth and jaws in children, adolescents and adults.
Invisalign is a great option for suitable candidates to correct misaligned teeth.
Retention For children or adults who want to maintain the position of their teeth or make minor movements, retainers and other appliances can be fabricated.
Orthognathic surgery In certain cases, a combination of braces and surgery will be necessary to correct severe misaligned jaws. The orthodontist coordinates closely with top oral surgeons to carefully plan the phases of treatment.
ORAL SURGERY
Extractions are performed on a case per case basis for several reasons including tooth fracture, advance periodontal disease and orthodontic treatment.
Wisdom tooth extractions (third molar extractions) Wisdom teeth extraction may be indicated in teeth with periodontal disease, decay or poor positioning.
Nitrous oxide can be provided for patients with moderate to severe anxiety to make them more comfortable for dental procedures.
